Licensing

Please be very careful when booking limousines. All companies are NOT alike not only in their fleet of vehicles, but also in their business practices. One of the most important aspects of this industry is the running of vehicles safely and legally. This involves the acquiring of a City of Ottawa license. This license, while very expensive, ensures that all our limousines are safety checked once a year, carry a minimum of 2 million dollars liability insurance, chauffeurs are police checked, and the company has the backing of City of Ottawa regulations. Furthermore, without this City of Ottawa license, limousines are NOT allowed to pick-up at the Ottawa International Airport. This is a separate license and only given to those companies who follow strict standards in business ethics and vehicle maintenance.

The City of Ottawa license sticker (as shown below) MUST appear on the left hand side of the rear windshield. Without it, the car CAN NOT LEGALLY carry passengers within the City of Ottawa.

The Ottawa Airport licence sticker (as shown below) MUST appear on any window / windshield of the vehicle. As well, a BLUE or RED plastisized permit MUST be visible through the front windshield while on the airport property.
